Few movies in last seven days. Movie wise this was a good week. I liked all these movies. Starting with the one I saw in hall.
Humpty Sharma - First half is quite good. Good flow and good dialog.

Next one was released in 2013. One of the last few movies of Farooq Shaikh. It is story about an old couple who lost their son. Farooq and his wife were doctors. Farooq became depression patient with suicidal tendency after death of son. The story revolves around their life. To avoid continuous recollection of sad incidence, they decided to settle back to Mumbai from Pune. The hero of the story is actually Raghubir Yadav who is neighbor of Farooq. He is 60+ jovial character. Jovial means good humored. This particularly character might not be completely good humored. Any way, he introduced Farooq and his wife (both of them were doctors) to a new club, club 60. Club for 60+ members.

Going back to short film, we are living in wonderful time. Youtube and high quality but inexpensive camera dramatically reduced short film production cost.
Sandip Roy's Chaar will remind you about teen kanya. It is not from same class. However, it is a bold experiment. Saswata acted well. Kaktarua could be a fascinating movie but it lacked finer quality of a true great short story. You may want to see Kurosawa's Dreams. Still Chaar brings new story telling style.
Two wonderful short movies I saw in Youtube. First one is a Chinese movie. It is just 11 minutes old - it is a bus journey. Goons took control of the bus and raped the female driver. Story had a wonderful twist. Wonderful camera work and exquisite story telling with high quality acting. Emotional restraint makes it very special

Why did actor laughed at the end?
Next one is a bengali comedy. It is not from same class of bus 44. However, it will entertain you.

There are two more short movies I have seen. One is Harison Ford narrated documentary "Lost World". It was rented from Singapore library. So, I do not have link.
Brain Power - This documentary compares child brain development with internet network development.

It is good concept and presentation is interesting. However, you will not learn anything new. Only interesting point I learned, child brain has more connection than entire internet hyper link.

If you do not watch, you do not miss much.
